Timothy and Anne had 6 children who were all born in Surry County, Virginia:
- Isaac, born April 7, 1743.
- Mary, born March 17, 1743/44.
- Richard, born August 5, 1747.
- Anne, born February 27, 1747/48.
- Timothy, born September 16, 1750.
- James, born February 16, 1751/52.
Timothy gave some of his children portions of his property. I wonder if Isaac and Richard died young, or if records just don't exist of what they received?
- Mary received 183 acres after she married. "...for and in consideration of the natural love and affection I have and bear toward my loving daughter Mary Horton, of the same place, both given, granted and confirmed unto said Mary Horton and her heirs, a certain piece of land containing about 183 acres". Signed Timothy Ezell, 16 April 1761.
- Anne received a feather bed and furniture, a copper kettle, and "15 pounds current money." (Seems like she got the short end of the stick? Or probably values were different then than they are now?)
- Timothy was to receive the family land and plantation when he reached the age of 21. He was about 12 when his father's will was made.
- James was to receive the land and plantation "lying on the lower end of the swamp, commonly called Joan's Hole Swamp" when he reached the age of 21. He was about 10 when his father's will was made.
- Timothy's wife, Anne, was to receive all the rest of the estate, whatever that was.
